We are an Australian owned family company with extensive experience in the funeral industry. In our current form, we’re a young company, but our history in caring for Sydney’s families at life’s most difficult time is decades old. The work that we do is our passion, not just a business.

Our founder’s family started in Sydney’s funeral industry in 1950, when it was a “calling” – not just an industry. This was the beginning of a tradition of compassionate service to families at their time of need that we continue today as Life Celebration Funerals.

Our Professional Services
Our professional services include our experienced staff, equipment, vehicles, facilities, premises, standards of operation and compliance. Not all families use every item of our services but they are there if needed.
Our Services Include:
- 24 hours, 7 day provision of service
- Mortuary care
- Attendance at the arrangement conference
- Provision of licensed facilities to Health Department specifications
- Access to a chapel if required
- Liaison between all groups required for the conduct of the funeral service namely clergy or celebrant, cemetery or crematorium and any others involved
- Organisation of either Medical Certificate of Cause of Death or Coroners Order, as well as applicable Cremation Certificates in the case of Cremation
- Placement of newspaper notices in local, metropolitan or others as required
- Attending to the registration of the death with the Registrar of Birth Deaths and Marriages
- Provision of memorial book and attention to signatures of those in attendance at funeral
- Order Certified Death Certificate if required
- Ordering and liaison with florists for suitable tributes, if required
- Provision and usage of licensed mortuary facilities for necessarytime before funeral
- Provision of hearse and bearers in attendance at the funeral
- Maintenance of all occupational health and safety issues forstaff and persons involved in the funeral
- Liaison with clubs and organisations involved in the funeral, if required
- Provision of musical equipment if required
- Liaison for orders of service or memorial cards if required
- Provision of all necessary equipment for the conduct ofthe funeral service
- Embalming
- Overseas Repatriation
- Provision of Australian Flag for RSL services
- Attendance to all special requests and family instructionsrelatingto the funeral
